Grab a seat or fill your car, in about a minute.
Samebound is a ride board for one event at a time. Your organizer shares the link, you say whether you're driving or riding, and the seats sort themselves out. No app to install, no account to make.
If you need a ride
- 01
Open your event's link
It works right in your phone's browser. You'll see every car with open seats, who's driving, and when they leave.
- 02
Set your ride vibe
Timing, talking, stops, temperature. The board sorts to match you, and it's honest about the fit: “3 of 4 · a solid ride.”
- 03
Claim a seat
You get the driver's contact and they get yours. Text hi, confirm the morning plan, and show up at the meet spot.
If you're driving anyway
- 01
Post your open seats
Where you're leaving from, when, the meet spot, and the vibe of your car. Takes about a minute.
- 02
Keep your private manage link
It shows your riders and their contacts, and lets you release seats or take the ride down if plans change.
- 03
Riders come to you
The board shows how many seats are left. When someone claims one, you both get each other's contact.
The vibe options do real work
Timing is a real constraint, so it sorts the board. Talking, stops, and temperature are personality, shown honestly with any difference named kindly, never hidden behind a score pretending to be science. You pick the human; the board just tells the truth about the car. And if the car requires a Kwik Trip stop, you'll know before you get in.
Trust and privacy, plainly
- The link comes from your event's organizer, so everyone on the board is headed to the same room you are.
- Your email never appears on the public board. Contacts are shared only inside your own carpool, after a seat is claimed.
- Everything you post comes with a private link to change or cancel it, no account needed.
- It's a coordination tool, not a rideshare: no fares, no dispatching. You arrange your own ride, the same as you would with a colleague.
Create a board in about a minute, paste the link into the confirmation email you already send, and the seats take care of themselves.
Free to use. Fewer no-shows on the long drives, more out-of-towners in the room, and a parking situation everyone complains about a little less.
